Avery J & The BA is a blues and hip-hop fusion band based out of Denver, Colorado. Starting with a sound Emcee and bassist Avery Jacob called “Mississippi Delta Rap,” the band began to take shape and expand its musical influences with the edition of Lucas Milowsky on the drums and Doms Gordon as the backup vocalist to round out the core of the band. Drawing inspiration from the Ancient Egyptian concept of the soul, The BA shines with a personality that is energetic, enigmatic and fun overall. With the sound swaying from blues and hip-hop, into rock and funk this band brings diverse energy that is guaranteed to move the listener, either from the emotional connection or the ever infectious dancing. They will continue to make the blues more accessible to the next generation to come with good vibes, good energy, and great vibes.
